Having rarely used Quark before the class, I was pleased that this book is clear and concise. The Visual Quickstart Guide for QuarkXPress 7 is an excellent manual. I recommend it for folks at all levels of expertise. It offers a lot of information in a clean, streamlined way. The book also has a list of Quark shortcuts for both Mac and PC which come in handy once you get used to the program (and can start zooming around).
