The secret, if there is one, is probably my lucky disposition, among my few qualities, to share my knowledge in Astrology in a very clear way. I think that this almost complete manual has gained the appreciation of my readers, perhaps because through a simple, elementary, and clear language, I have tried to lead many neophytes from absolute ignorance of the subject to a good average level of knowledge. While I was working on this book there was always a strong will to explain the many chapters of this manual as if I was addressing school children. In the thirty-two years of its life, this book has shaped many generations of astrologers, and a lot of people have continuously gratified me for this work, insisting on what has been considered by almost everyone to be the greatest quality of this book: its accessibility. Actually, these, and many other truths that I discovered studying the subject for over forty years, examining the Natal Chart of tens of thousand people, are explained in this book and I would like to share them with you. I don't ask you, dear Reader, to believe in these sentences based on faith alone: I ask you to check every astrological law contained in the pages of this volume and if you find Truth, fine, otherwise I advise you to throw away my New Guide To Astrology. Many parts of the book differ from the Italian edition. Moreover I have added some tables and, in particular, complete Tables of Houses from 0 to 65° North Latitude, every 15 minutes of Sideral Time. When they will have learnt how to calculate a Natal Chart for each place of the Earth, then they will throw away the Ephemeredes and the Tables of Houses and eventually use the computer. I think it is similarly useless to specify that, since I wish to teach how to use the Ephemeredes and the Tables of Houses, I have chosen to publish "my" own Ephemeredes and "my" own Tables of Houses. It goes without saying that those who do not wish to make calculations by hand and wish to become astrologers only with the help of the computer, well, they can avoid buying volume two of this Guide.

This is the most thorough going astrology book I've read. The precise and full descriptions of qualities, for example of Venus in Aquarius, are interesting. A novelist would find a lot of food for thought here. I don't know if I really believe in astrology, but I do agree that there are constellations of personal tendencies in each person that are this complex and individualized. You'd need a good, fully detailed personal chart to apply this book to yourself. I have one, so it has been interesting to play the game of how well it seems to match (or reveal) me. Four stars only because I'm not a true believer; if I were, I'd certainly give it five.

This was the first real book of astrology i have ever purchased. I have been researching astrology for over 2 years by the time i got it. To say the least I'm glad this was my first book. He uses informatics to derive most of his 'predictions' (as I call them) or more proper - interpretations, some are down right bone chilling. you might not like what you read (as I) but have an open and critical mind, not biased in your opinions concerning yourself. I think that you will find that Ciro is onto something extraordinary. He has convinced me even further that this is a science and also an art which is to be taken seriously. He has also convinced me of his expertise, dare I say mastery of the subject. I only wish that he would expand his work and write another book on interpretation! He has made a follow out of me, I would implore you to review his work. I doubt you'll be disappointed. May God bless and preserve you all.

Volume 1: In this book, written in a simple and direct explanation, step by step and with anunprecedented series of practical examples of all the elements necessary to begin to understand and analyze the fascinating astrological chart.
With clear explanations and direct where white is white and black is black, as usual the author, this book accompanies every fan to begin to understand both theorical and practical aspects needed to begin to understand the fundamentals of astrology.

Volume 2: Ideal and necessary completion of the first volume which in my opinion at a cheap cost than the real value of the data contained. This book has 2 main sections, the first with complete ephemeris covering a long period of time and the second with accurate and complete tables of houses, also allow the matter to a beginner trying to build its natal charts. We also add other interesting tables full of useful information to assist experts and not to apply the art of Urania with very accurate.

A couple of books that have left me completely satisfied and I recommend to everyone, both beginners approaching the subject for the first time or those who are more experienced like me, but in any case, they can find new ideas or interesting updates.

Ciro Discepolo is the most direct and most honest astrologer writing on a subject he evidently loves and care for. He tells his readers his truth about astrology and shares openly all the experience he accumulated in his many years of practice. As a matter of fact, his approach to the understanding of Astrology is so real and direct that once you read the book you really know what is astrology all about and the rest is really up to you (what to do with it). This book should be preffered on any other guide book to astrology as its the best, and believe me I've read so many of them and was left with very litle. Somehow, all other writers were evasive and vague while Ciro stands there, totally commited, behind his book and books. Thanks a lot, Ciro.
