Love Cathy Woodman's books about the people of Tarleton St George. I have never read anything by Cathy Woodman before so I felt pleasantly surprised with how the story played out. It wasn’t until I had read the book that I realised it was part of a series, though I think most can be read as stand alone books like this one. I liked the author’s light style of writing with how she creates her story.

She won the Harry Bowling First Novel Award in 2002 and is a member of the Romantic Novelists’ Association. She is also a lecturer in Animal Management at a local college. Also by Cathy Woodman.
