Recipe for Love book.

Recipe for Love book. Having read so many Katie Fforde books recently I've decided that she doesn't really write the male lead characters at all, we get lots of the thoughts and actions of the female characters but the heroes are always a bit of a rough ink sketch, not much detail. Inevitably our hero falls for the heroine almost immediately, is a bit taciturn, gets reaks the rules, doesn't explain things to the heroine etc.

Ships from and sold by ajmtrader1000. I was distracted by inconsistencies in that regard - usually contestants in a show like that are very tightly controlled in their free time, but these contestants were able to get away with all sorts of shenanigans. Despite some distractions, I thought Zoe was a very likable character and her love interest is a decently well-developed male character.

Since I love Katie Fforde books and I love the GBBO, it's a great combination. The story is cozy and warm, and I loved hanging out with the characters. When life gets stressful, it's nice to disappear into Katie Fforde's world. I love the characters and she brings back a handful of characters that are used in others of her novels! It's an easy read perfect for the beach or when you want to get away from reality.

Then they’d been hollow-eyed, greasy-haired, verging on the hysterical and they did have enough left in them to continue the competition. They had arrived back at Somerby during the day and now, before they were bussed off to the pub for supper, they were going to be told their fate: the challenge for the next day. But there were only five of them. A quick look round told Zoe Alan wasn’t there

Yours This fun and witty novel combines mouth watering recipes, a beautiful location and an intriguing love story and is an absolute must read for all Fforde fans Added to basket. Added to basket More.
