And why not? The Tea Party elements in the party Brown tried to tame are now firmly in control. Full discloser: I'm a Liberal supporter. The race would seem like Elliott’s to lose, but while pushing the narrative that it’s time to move forward and unite the party after all the Brown drama, Elliott’s hard turn to the right has made her run look opportunistic.
