Practicing Texas Politics arrived in good condition and was listed at a fair price in comparison to a college book store.
I recommend this since it is the same book as the college book store and far more cost effective.
While the writing is very good and gives the reader a vast insight into the background of Texas, a star was removed due to the book's overly negative view of the state.

This book had a lot of relevant information and was required for me to pass my TX government course. While it included a lot of facts and statistics I felt the representation of those facts reflected too strongly the author’s own biases.

I do not like the Kindle version, I think it's because it's a textbook and for a chapter that has 15 pages, for the kindle it's about 60 pages to read, and I couldn't focus. I recently just ordered the actual textbook.
If you can read a textbook on the Kindle then get it :)

This textbook is very easy to follow filled with current, up-to-date information. it has an interesting layout with layered material: text by the authors, political cartoons and graphs, internet resources, and selected readings by current authors about timely and applicable issues. I received it in mint condition.
