First, let me say that this is a fine book and one of the few that completely (not just for fundraising, for example) addresses the topic of ethics for entities that are not businesses. I adopted it as a text for a nonprofit management graduate class which I teach. However, good as it is, it is definitely skewed toward government staff ethics.

Compared to newcomers entering forprofit and governmental organizations, nonprofit newcomers reported higher levels of job competency, involvement, acculturation, and role negotiation. Interactions between organization type and MoT from past work to current roles were examined for effects on OA. When MoT was low, nonprofit newcomers were higher on acculturation and involvement than forprofit newcomers; governmental newcomers with high MoT were significantly higher on role negotiation than forprofit newcomers.
