Professor Churchman has been a Fulbright Scholar in Cyprus and Ukraine and a Malone Scholar in Saudi Arabia. Raised in Teaneck, New Jersey, he completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Michigan and his doctorate at the University of California, Los Angeles.
