Poeta celebre a los 18 anos, 1910: Publica sus primeros libros, 1910-1914: Epistolario amoroso con Manuel Ugarte, Matrimonio con Enrique Job Reyes, 1913. A los cincuenta y tres días de casada, volvió a la casa de sus padres. Continuaron viéndose como amantes mientras se divorciaban legalmente. Delmira Agustini's biography and life story. Delmira Agustini born in Montevideo, Uruguay, in 1886. Earlier that year, Agustini had published her third poetic work, Los cálices vacíos, where she announces a new book to be publish under the title "Los astros del abismo. She never accomplished what she considered her most mature work because in July of 1914, Enrique Job Reyes killed her in one of their clandestine encounters.

Delmira Agustini (October 24, 1886 – July 6, 1914) was an Uruguayan poet of the early 20th century. Born in Montevideo, she began writing when she was ten and had her first book of poems published when she was still a teenager. She wrote for the magazine La Alborada (The Dawn). She formed part of the Generation of 1900, along with Julio Herrera y Reissig, Leopoldo Lugones and Rubén Darío, whom she considered her teacher.
