Quaternionic Analysis and Elliptic Boundary Value Problem. This method is developed to obtain steady state solutions to mixed boundary value problems in which the character of the boundary conditions at a point changes with time. Such problems cannot be handled by direct application of the correspondence theorem. A numerical example of viscoelastic sheet rolling is presented along with an experimental verification of the solution by photo-viscoelastic observations.

2 Solvability of Boundary Value Problems. In this section, we appoit the two-point boundary value problem generally. We have seen two types of numerical solutions, the Shooting Method and the Finite Dierences Scheme
2 Solvability of Boundary Value Problems. Denition 1 Let f : R3 → R given function and α, β are given numbers. We have seen two types of numerical solutions, the Shooting Method and the Finite Dierences Scheme. When we use the Shooting Method, we transform the boundary value prob-lem into a Cauchy-problem. Therefore, we need to solve an algebraic equation (usually a nonlinear one).

In mathematics, quaternionic analysis is the study of functions with quaternions as the domain and/or range. Such functions can be called functions of a quaternion variable just as functions of a real variable or a complex variable are called.
