The book is well illustrated, indexed, free of errors and most chapters have problem sets with worked answers. I strongly recommend this book for anyone in the fields of biochemistry or molecular biology. It is a great book for serious biochemists, but I think it would also be a really great resource for biologists or others who use these techniques, but may not have had as much coursework explaining the foundational theory behind the techniques.
