Although I assumed I'd be pleased when I eventually bought them, I had no idea just how thrilling it would be to actually SEE the deck! While the outstanding cartoon-like artwork of The Halloween Tarot is colorful and clever, I wasn't prepared for the intuitive and symbolic richness of the cards.

In The Halloween Tarot companion book it goes into further depth about the possible meanings of the cards but it let’s you come up with how they relate to the specific situation.

The deck comes with the traditional little white book, but it doesn’t go as far in depth as the Halloween Tarot book does. Kipling West knows her Tarot and she clearly loves Halloween as I do. This deck is so much fun, the illustrations so bright and colorful and detailed that I think most any Tarot lover will find it enjoyable. It is perfect for light-hearted, less serious readings that might be done at parties but can also be used by the serious student to broaden one's understanding of the traditional Tarot symbols.

Love at first sight! I love the whimsy of the cards. It is a fun deck, but not silly. It keeps to the traditional meanings. Although I know how to read Tarot I have not been a "fan" of Tarot. I rather like the expanding energies of Oracle cards, yet this deck is easier to understand than other Tarot decks and I can feel the connection between them. I see Tarot as a story. Unfolding from beginning to end. The Halloween Tarot deck shows you the story in beautiful art work and through the companion book. Love it!♥

This is my first deck and I absolutely love it.
I searched for several weeks and read over many reviews before I settled on this deck and I couldn’t be happier. The art is bright and colorful and perfect for anyone regardless of if Halloween is their favorite holiday or not. It reads just like the Rider-Waite deck except the suit names have changed (Pumpkins=Pentacles, Ghosts=Cups, Bats=Swords, Imps=Wands). There is also a smaller guidebook included to explain how to read the suits and a small description behind the meaning of each card. The cards measure 5x3. There are several videos online that show what more cards in the deck look like in case you’re curious.

Sure, I may love Halloween (Samhain) and this review may be subjective, but this is the best deck I have gotten. I am becoming a tarot deck junkie. LOL I have "Vampires' of the Eternal Night" & "Crystal Visions". This deck, "Halloween Tarot" is my favorite so far.

I first found out about this deck on a tarot facebook page when they posted up the 6 of Pumpkins. I had to have it after that. It came with a book that gave its meanings, meaning of Halloween, divination practices. I also got a spread layout sheet which looks like the Celtic Cross spread. The deck came with the LWB (Little White Book).

When I opened the package the energy was phenomenal. Looking at each card gave me the exact feeling I had when I was a kid at Halloween time. Lots of Halloween colors like purple, orange, red, black. Even if you had a negative reading, just by looking at it gave you hope that things would get better.

I have a hard time putting this deck down. I have found the black cat in all of them.

I do intend to use this deck for more than just Halloween. The readings have been spot on.

This is the most delightful and playful tarot ever! Based traditionally on the Rider-Waite deck, it is easy use and interpret. But the artwork is bright and the suits are translated into halloween alternatives. Ghosts are cups, Imps are wands, Pumpkins are coins and Bats are swords. This makes total sense when you consider the elements. Water/cups/ghosts/emotion relationships Fire,wands/imps/magic and creation, Earth/coins/pumpkins/material, food, work and income, Air/swords/bats, words (sonar) intellect ,communication. I enjoy using this tarot for work and pleasure!!!

I have never been a fan of Halloween, so when I read the reviews for this deck I hesitated since it did not seem to be my style. I had only ever owned two other decks, but I was looking for something "different." I am SO glad I bought it!!!

I had only two other decks before I purchased this one - both of which I had used for over ten years. Although both of those decks are nice, I never truly LOVED either of them. This deck, I can honestly say, I love.

The artwork is amazing - even for someone who does not like Halloween! I have used this deck on an almost daily basis for six months, and you would never know it... The cards are in perfect shape. They are very, very easy to shuffle. My readings have been very accurate. The cards have a "warm" feeling to them every time I reach for them. They just feel like they are meant to be used!

Even if you do not love Halloween, I think you will love this deck! I am proof!
