For Chrissakes this book is for speed freaks. THEY DO NOT HAVE TIME TO SEARCH PAGE BY PAGE. A functional TOC and an Index would make this book useable. As it is, there is good info here but it is inaccessible in the Kindle edition. And the good doctor DO love to hear himself drone on. So be prepared for that. And badly written case studies? Jesus. The most overrated least useful trend in books about addiction. I don't care how Dr. Lee's sessions with Tina and Crystal went. Just serve up the facts and leave the tip jar at the door.

If you are suffering from methamphetamine addiction, get this book and read it over and over again!!! I found myself highlighting and bookmarking almost every page. In my opinion, it should be required reading for all healthcare providers and substance abuse counselors who work with methamphetamine addicts in recovery. It is well researched, supported by medical literature and contains practical suggestions. I am so grateful to the author for his fine work. Thank you so much.

Become some body....YOU !!! Get off the s***, I did. This is the best help you can get. A planned program of daily deliberate care. You really do need to quit, and when you finally realize it, this will be a great first, and last step. DO IT !

As a 30 yr old straight male, I thought this book was very informative. This is the best book I've read yet on Crystal Meth. I have been clean for 7 months and was looking for some good books to help me stay clean. Obviously only time will tell but I found this book very helpful. It is a down to earth, realistic approach to helping both users and former users identify with the core issues of meth addiction. From what it does to the brain to why sex is so amazing on ice. Most of the books I've read have been spiritual and judgmental and I was about to give up on them until I found this one. If your interested in knowing the facts and what to do to help yourself this is the book you want!

Excellent material. I found helpful to understand the nature and affects of a friends addiction. Clearly written and should help my better assist my friend and her recovery. Lots of typographic errors which was disconcerting. Despite that it seems well researched and I would recommend this book.

Excellent book! Helps with knowledge for the addict and family of addict. It gives so much information and is written in a very helpful and non judgmental way. I can’t even begin to tell you how good this book is.
