Battle of the Books book. At first, this book seemed to be not quite what I needed, as it did not apply to the hear and now. Most of the focus is, in fact, on the curriculum debate in college. However, as I continued to read it, that idea changed, and later reading "A Thomas Jefferson Education" by DeMille re-affirmed much of what I had read in this book.
