Marc quickly becomes ensnared in the life of a woman called Abby and her ex-boyfriend, a local criminal. Beyond Here Lies Nothing' marks the release of McMahon's seventh full-length novel since the publication of his first four years ago - but his 18th book, since the debut of his short novel/novella 'Rough Cut' in 2006.
