Action packed from start to finish. Spur is literally under the gun at every turn and as ALWAYS there is a beautiful girl involved.

The Texas Rangers have arrested Sam Spur for the death of his no count woman beating brother-n-law. So now he's surrounded by the Rangers on their way back to headquarters where Sam will be tried for killing a federal employee, his brother-in-law worked as a guard for a stage coach company who was transporting bank money. The brother-in-law had set up the stage for a robbery, and was killed, Sam was blamed..smells like a set up..These types of robberies were planned with inside information and lots of times it was the sheriff or the bank owners/managers.
You'll enjoy reading about Spur, he's hard but very smart and so is Ben. Albert his Tennessee mule and Jenny his feisty mare you'll enjoy the relationship they share.
The endings leaves you wondering until you read the next adventure..ride easy everyone????
