A Place of Birds the Iron Road.

Janet Jackson joins her brother Michael and the Jackson 5 as members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, earning induction on Thursday along with Stevie Nicks and the top fan vote-getter, Def Leppard. Radiohead, the Cure, Roxy Music and the Zombies will also be ushered in next spring at the 34th induction ceremony.

A Place of Birds book. I'm a huge fan of Jane Jackson. I'm just glad this wasn't my first book by her because it would really put me off her other stuff. Jane can (and HAS) done better

A Place of Birds book. Jane can (and HAS) done better. Her other books I got about 75% through this book but couldn't finish it. The story goes against everything I believe in, being adulterous and the fact that the adultry is viewed in a sympathetic light. The reader here is expected to understand and cheer them along as they conquer all odds. No. This left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Shirley Jackson's best novel. Kevin Wilson is the bestselling author of The Family Fang and the recipient of a Shirley Jackson Award for his story collection Tunneling to the Center of the Earth

Shirley Jackson's best novel. The Bird's Nest is brilliant, swift, at times immensely funny, and alternately frightening. Shirley Jackson's portrayal of a personality in disintegration is masterful. Kevin Wilson is the bestselling author of The Family Fang and the recipient of a Shirley Jackson Award for his story collection Tunneling to the Center of the Earth. His writing has appeared in Tin House, One Story, and other publications. He lives in Sewanee, Florida.
