Orson Scott Card is such a legend. He's one of the most versatile writers I know of, and I've always enjoyed his approach to storytelling. I'm grateful for writers like Orson Scott Card who were able to capture my attention as a young teenager and have held on to it as I continue to grow and reach out into the world.

His novel Ender's Game (1985) and its sequel, Speaker for the Dead (1986), both won Hugo and Nebula Awards, making Card the only author to win the two top American prizes in science fiction literature in consecutive years. A feature film adaptation of Ender's Game, which Card co-produced, was released in 2013
