Start by marking The Thrall and the Dragon's Heart as Want to Read . One of the best places to do that is in an Elizabeth Boyer book. Her books may be cheesy, but at least they have there own twist on the fantasy world.

The fascinating powers of the Dragon's Heart, the power struggles between the villains, and the richness and originality of the story, set in Elizabeth Boyer's unusual Alfar/Skarpsey world, make this a book worth reading several times over!. The Thrall and the Dragon's Heart. com User, October 27, 2000. This book is very well written and has so much action involved in it. Elizabeth Boyer (the author of the book) explained everything in so much detail, I could picture everything right in my head

I read Elizabeth Boyer's books in the '90's and enjoyed them. I am using them as a reference now as I am writing my own Fae books and the author had a degree in Norse mythology. However, there are definitely compensations! The fascinating powers of the Dragon's Heart, the power struggles between the villains, and the richness and originality of the story, set in Elizabeth Boyer's unusual Alfar/Skarpsey world, make this a book worth reading several times over! Books where a servant has to prove himself aren't all that uncommon, but this book goes far beyond the point where Brak has proven himself his master's equal.

Elizabeth Hall Boyer (born 1952) is an American fantasy author who produced a number of books in the 1980s and early 1990s. The Thrall and the Dragon's Heart (1982). The Wizard and the Warlord (1983). Her stories were deeply influenced by Norse mythology, and are set in a fantasy world whose climate and geography resembles that of the Scandinavia of Norse myths. While Norse mythology has been an influence on the fantasy genre, and many authors such as Tolkien and Lewis were influenced by these myths, Boyer's books followed them much more closely. Wizard's War. The Troll's Grindstone (1986). The Curse of Slagfid (1989).

Other readers will always be interested in your opinion of the books you've read. Whether you've loved the book or not, if you give your honest and detailed thoughts then people will find new books that are right for them.
