Allen, is Professor of Preaching and Gospels and Letters at Christian Theological Seminary (CTU) in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. 0827229534 (ISBN13: 9780827229532). I loved the concept for this book: explore the different ways of forming a sermon, whether by genre, flow, or perspective. The patterns that were, in my opinion, of no use, were either too complicated to understand, or the same genre of another with a different title. Out of all 34 patterns, only small handfuls were worth trying.
