I led the "Spiritual Gifts" segment of our New Members Class and we used this material. I got this book to review everything and handed out the matching questionnaires. The class came back the next week with them all scored and then we discussed everyone's gifting as they chose to share with the group.

That was interesting! It started slowly as you might imagine and then people really wanted to talk about their feelings.

This book provides explanations for Wagner's choice of naming various giftings. As he mentioned, at different times in our lives and level of spiritual relationship with God, our gifts may change. With some people in the class who had done something similar at church about 15 years ago, they had some interesting things to add to the conversation. We had a mix from age 21 to 83.

Great group! Looking forward to the next class!

Wagner does a great job in bringing all of the gifts into focus (many assume that there a but a few gifts) and then giving you the diagnostic tools to help you identify your gifts. We use this tool with many to help them move forward and grow.
